Cercetãtor renumit în domeniul psihologiei constiintei, dr. Először a lét és nemlét fogalmát mutatja be filozófiai és tudományos vonatkozásban, majd ennek irodalmi és művészeti ábrázolását taglalja. A halál szélsőséges, extrém helyzeteibe kerülő emberi tudat viselkedésével foglalkozik egy következő fejezet. A leíró rész utolsó fejezete, a pszichológia és a tanatológia eszközeivel világítja meg, a tudat állapotát és a halálfélelmet az élet végső pillanataiban. A kötet második része a szerző által megalkotott Élet-Halál Kérdőívet (ÉHK) és az ennek segítségével készített felmérést elemzi. A könyv, mind a szakemberek, mind a laikusok számára hasznos olvasmány, akik ismerik a román nyelvet. The renowned researcher of the psychology of consciousness, dr. Attila Simon-Székely, in his concise and excellently compiled book, shows us the attitude of the man, towards mortality, being aware of death, but never resigned. At first the book describes existence and nonexistence from the aspects of philosophy and science, then from those of literature and fine arts. In another chapter deals with the behavior of human consciousness in extreme situations of death. The last chapter of the description part reveals the status of consciousness and fear of death in the last minutes of life, with the means of psychology and tanatology. The second part of the book describes the Life-Death Inventory (LDI), the author’s own creation, and a psychological survey made with the help of this test. This book is a very useful reading for both professionals and lay people, who can read in Romanian.
